More about Sue…

What do you enjoy most about your subject?

I love the way that languages are constantly changing and so you can always learn new words and phrases. It is fun to be able to communicate with a wide range of people and I enjoy teaching a subject which lends itself to plenty of interactivity. I quite like going away on the trips too!

What do you enjoy most about life at Dauntsey’s?

I really love the sense of community at Dauntsey's - it is unlike any other place I have worked. Pupils are enthusiastic, up for a challenge and fun. It is a very special place!

How do you spend your holidays/time out of school?

Out of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. Both my girls were in Scott House so I feel it is part of my family's Dauntsey's experience. We love being outdoors, whether that is dog walking on the Plain or skiing. I enjoy cooking although I am particularly bad at following recipes and I am never without a book on the go.

Your favourite place on earth and why?

My favorite country is Italy because I love the language, the culture, the food and the people. I would happily retire to the Alps because they combine the best of everything!

The House system at Dauntsey's
