Admission at 11+ for entry in September 2012 and beyond

At all stages admission to Dauntsey's is via examination and interview. The majority of pupils join Dauntsey's aged 11, although we also welcome applicants for entry at 13  (mostly boarding) and 16 (day and boarding places available).  

For candidates wishing to enter into the First Form (Year 7), an examination is held in mid January of the year of entry and all prospective pupils are interviewed in the same week as the examination. Boarding and day places are awarded as a result of this process, as are boarding and day scholarships. 

A waiting list for entry into the First Form in September 2012 is currently in operation.  Please contact the Registrar as soon as possible if you wish to make a new application.

All prospective pupils sit examinations in English and Maths and complete a verbal reasoning paper.  All applicants are interviewed. 

Application for entry  for 2013 and beyond is made by completing a Registration Form  and returning it to the Admissions Office together with the Registration Fee of £100.  Registrations are acknowledged and a prospective pupil is placed on our lists for entry.  All registered candidates are invited to take the Entrance Examination held in mid January of the year of entry.

If space permits, Dauntsey's will accept pupils into Year 8.
