Dauntsey's School - Day and Boarding Fees From September 2011
Fees and associated charges payable from September 2011 are shown below. Parents are asked to note that the fees are calculated as an annual sum collected in three equal instalments at the beginning of each term in accordance with our terms and conditions. The fees payable from September 2011 are as follows:
Day pupils £15,585 (£5,195 per term)
UK Boarders £26,265 (£8,755 per term)
International Pupils £29,490 (£9,830 per term)
Pupils who are not UK national citizens, and who live outside the United Kingdom, are regarded as ‘International Pupils’ for the purposes of Dauntsey’s School Fees. An International Pupil Fee is inclusive of additional costs and services which are summarised below:
- Travel costs for up to 4 journeys per term between UK airports and Dauntsey’s School.
- All additional tuition costs for English as a Foreign Language support lessons.
- IELTS Examination Charges.
- English Speaking Board Examination Charges.
- Membership of the International Society.
- School costs of VISA administration via the UK Border Authority.
A 10% discount on boarding fees will apply for second and subsequent pupils from the same family attending Dauntsey’s together.

Where provided separately, costs for English Language tuition up to £600 per term.

Per instrument £28 per lesson
For 2 or more instruments £28 per lesson for the first instrument

Use of School instrument £55 per term
There is no charge for theory lessons or for use of School instruments, when available, during School holidays. However, if instruments are removed from the School premises, parents must provide adequate insurance cover. One full term’s notice, in writing, is required if a pupil wishes to discontinue music lessons.
Moonrakers
For third form pupils attending the Moonrakers Camp during the Summer Term there is a contribution payable of £185.
Payment of School Fees
A £750 deposit is payable on acceptance of a vacancy at Dauntsey's and £1,000 for overseas pupils. This deposit will be held by Dauntsey's and deducted from the extras' account at the end of the pupil's final term. Fees may be paid direct by bank transfer or on cheques or bank drafts drawn on a UK bank. We regret we are unable to accept payment in cash.
The School's Terms and Conditions require fees to be paid in advance by the first day of each term. Fees not paid in full by the first day of term, or where payment is delayed, will normally attract a surcharge of 1.5% per month or part thereof.
All fees are payable on cheques or bank drafts drawn on a UK bank. We regret we are unable to accept payment in cash.
