This club is open to all the lower school of any ability. It is a good opportunity to have fun and learn the fundamentals of table tennis.

Every term three professionals provide private tennis coaching during lunch times, prep times and in the evenings. Mr Lewis coordinates the coaching and all requests should be directed to him at the start of each term. There is an additional cost for all tennis coaching.

Ten Tors

The Ten Tors is a challenge expedition run by the Army which takes place on Dartmoor in May. A team of 6 Lower Sixth formers sets out to cover 45 miles in 22 hours with full expedition packs and must be entirely self-sufficient for that period. The school team is selected in February and training takes place on Sundays in March, April and May, both locally and on Dartmoor.

Mrs A Prosser

Mrs Prosser, a professional coach, runs Trampolining twice a week for all pupils. It is a good chance to have fun and learn a different sport while getting some good exercise; some pupils have gone on to perform extremely well in inter-school competitions. See Miss Conidaris for more details.

Triathlon

Summer term only

This one-off annual event takes place in the summer term. The Triathlon consists of a 400 metre (16 lengths) swim followed by a 1.55 mile cycle and ends with a 0.25 mile run.  The event is open to pupils, parents and staff, who can enter either as individuals, or as a Team.  Pupil Teams must consist of three pupils or Teams can be made up of one parent/staff plus two pupils.  The day usually ends with a celebratory barbeque.

The Walking Club has no regular meetings but as and when Mr Wheatley has the time, he takes groups of pupils to the hilly areas of (usually) Wales to allow them to experience hill walking, and to learn basic hill craft and navigation skills.

Water Polo Club

The Water Polo Club is open to the whole school and caters for all abilities of players from beginners to experienced. The various age group teams compete in both the Wiltshire County tournaments and the National Schools competitions (at U16 and U18 level) as well as various inter-school events. Come along and give it a go!

Wobblers Rally Buggy Driving

Wobblers Rally Buggy Driving is a driving based activity designed to teach children to drive off-road in an automatic, two-man 125cc motorized buggy. The course will aim to teach children about all aspects of driving safety whilst still maintaining the core elements of enjoyment and healthy competition. The course will run weekly in half-hour sessions. There is a cost for the club.
