At Dauntseys pupils follow the British Sub AquaClub (BSAC) training regime to allow them to gain the Club Diver Qualification.

This requires pupils to undertake:
· Theory lessons in the classroom.
(10 in total)
· Practical lessons in the pool.
(10 in total)
· A written examination.
· Sheltered and open water training and assessment.

The qualification allows pupils to dive in open water with other divers of the same, or higher grades. Club divers are restricted to a maximum depth of 18 metres.
