In the Lower 6th Students cover the following topics:

Coastal Environments, Fluvial Environments, Earth Systems
Unit 2 Human Environments
Population characteristics, Settlement Patterns and Population Movement.
Unit 3 Applied Geographical Skills
The application of practical skills to unfamiliar contexts and practical fieldwork investigations in both human and physical geography.

The A2 Specification:

In the Upper 6th students will cover the following topics:

Unit 4 Physical Systems, Processes and Patterns
Atmospheric Systems, Glacial Systems, Ecosystems.
Unit 5 Human Systems, Processes and Patterns
Economic Systems, Rural/Urban Interrelationships, Development Processes.
Unit 6 Synoptic Unit
People and their environments. Linking all the different parts of the course.
