There are three Lower School day
houses which are co-educational (boys and girls aged 11-13) and
two boys’ and two girls’ Upper School houses (aged 14-18).
All the day houses have their own individual accommodation which
is located on the main School site. The House accommodation provides
a central point for pupils for morning registration, common rooms
to spend leisure time and studies within which to do prep. To ensure
there is consistency throughout, the day houses are run along exactly
the same pastoral lives as the
boarding
houses in that the House staff are responsible for the overall
welfare of their pupils. They are key in ensuring the pupils’
happiness and progress throughout their time at Dauntsey’s
and are the crucial link between the School and parents.
