Rendell House
Lower School Day (Boys and Girls 11-13yrs)

Rendell House, which was established in 1986, is named after Leslie Rendell who taught at the School for 37 years (1949 – 1986), and was Housemaster of the Manor for 25 years. Rendell House is based in the Lower School Centre and provides a friendly atmosphere for pupils throughout the day. Over the years Rendell has won the Leslie Rendell Trophy, competing in inter-house events such as Sports Day and the Lower School Music Competition. There is much emphasis on a friendly and supportive atmosphere for pupils and staff alike. Staff organise certain events throughout the year for pupils, including a pizza and bowling trip for the Third Form; new in 2005 is the Rendell Code, a treasure hunt based loosely on the famous ‘Da Vinci Code’ novel.
