Fitzmaurice House
Upper School Boarding (Boys 14-18yrs)
The Website

Since 1895, Fitzmaurice House has been one of two Upper School boys' boarding houses at Dauntsey's School. Today the House consists of 33 dormitories with 53 beds. The House prides itself on the friendly atmosphere which pervades and where the emphasis is on encouragement and support for all. A buddy system exists for all new members of the House and ‘subject specialists’ are always happy to offer help and support with prep. The extensive Common Room, which can accommodate the whole of ‘Fitz’, is the central hub of the House. It allows all years to integrate in a relaxed and informal atmosphere with a variety of recreational facilities to enjoy. An extensive array of social events run each year, with the highlights being the themed House Party and the Christmas Talent Show. The resident House parents, who are supported by three tutors and two matrons, oversee the pastoral care of the House.

The House has its own dedicated website which is regularly updated with news and photographs of what is happening.
