Mercers' House
Upper School Boarding (Boys 14-18yrs)
The Website

Some sixty five Upper School boarding boys live in Mercers' House, a modern and spacious building close to the centre of the School, but enjoying fine views of the northern edge of Salisbury Plain. Accommodation in the large and airy rooms is excellent; pupils share rooms in their first three years in the house and all Upper Sixth pupils have a single room. There are separate television and common rooms for the boys, a fully equipped kitchen, as well as two "brew rooms". On cold winter evenings an open fire in the common room gives a welcoming homely feeling. Mercers' boys are looked after by a dedicated team of resident tutors who also organise a number of events and trips throughout the year. At weekends, the duty member of staff provides a snack on a Saturday, later on in the evening - Mr. Wheatley's freshly made doughnuts are a particular favourite!

The House has its own website.
