Dauntsey's School was founded in West Lavington, Wiltshire, almost five centuries ago under the will of Alderman William Dauntsey, Master of the Worshipful Company of Mercers.
Dauntsey's now occupies over 100 acres of idyllic countryside on the northern edge of Salisbury Plain and has grown into a leading co-educational boarding and day school for 11-18 year olds. Today, some 780 happy, friendly and enthusiastic pupils are guided and encouraged to become constructive, compassionate and responsible members of society.
At Dauntsey's, our pupils discover a breadth and depth of education that stretches them beyond academic achievement to challenges and successes in music, drama, art and sport.
