Moonrakers

A brief description of the course followed in Year 9.

This is a programme of outdoor and adventurous activities run on a Friday afternoon which all pupils attend.  Activities include:

  • Conservation Walk
  • Navigation
  • Orienteering
  • Rock Climbing
  • Sailing
  • Shooting
  • Survival
  • Water Challenges
  • River Crossing
  • Sub-Aqua Diving
  • Archery




Canoeing

In the summer all pupils attend Moonrakers Camp where over six days they participate in a wide range of courses at the Outward Bound Centre in Wales.
