Pupils in years 10 and 11 continue the GCSE courses started in year 9. A practical and investigative approach is taken. Coursework consists of tests on practical work taken during normal lesson time. At the end of the 4th Form all pupils take an external exam which contributes towards GCSE.
Those pupils taking the extra science option will study the core topics in more depth and also study the following extension topics:
