Unbeaten Sides : Girls Netball: U15B VII; Boys Rugby: 4 XV; Girls Athletics: U17 and U19; Boys Athletics : Minor, Junior, U17 and U19 (also winners of the Lutra Shield for the first time). Boys Tennis: U13A; Girls Tennis: 1st, 2nd, U15B, U13A, U12B; Rifle Shooting: British Schools Small Bore League : Senior “A” team won division 5 & the U15 team won division 4. Dauntsey’s County Champions/ AchievementsU14 XI Wiltshire Boys Hockey Champions U19 XI Girls Netball County Tournament. (Semi-finals) U15 XI Girls Netball Mid-Wilts Tournament Champions Senior Girls Swimming team qualified for National schools freestyle final and came 6th out of 40 Schools. Senior Girls Swimming team qualified for National schools medley final and came 5th out of 40 Schools. Senior Boys Swimming team qualified for National schools medley final and came 5th out of 35 Schools. Three Dauntsey’s Swimmers ( Yong Lee, Peter Wasielewski , Georgia Dymoke) were selected for the Wiltshire County Swims at Sheffield (40 counties) and Wiltshire Centaury Gala. Four Dauntsey’s pupils (Christopher Wilson, Rebecca Smallman, Zoe Hamersely, Rachel Yates) passed the Level 1 Teaching Swimming Award. 124 Swimming records broken during the school year. Water Polo : Senior Boys team competed at National level. Horse Riding: Stonar ISODE : David Doel won both the show jumping and dressage events; Sansaw National Pony Championship : David Doel came 13th (out of top 50 ponies in the country). Inter Schools JAS (Jumping and Style) competition held at Millfield: Dauntsey’s placed 2nd out of 16 schools. Judo: Independent Schools Judo Competition at High Wycombe : Jordan Wain (Bronze); Dom House (Bronze) Cross-Country: County Champion: David Reynolds won the Senior Boys County Schools Event. Tennis: U13 & U15 girls’ teams won the Nestle League.

Wiltshire County Fencing Championship : U18 Foil : Andrew Webber (1st ), U14 Foil Jamie Paris (3rd ) Phoebe Brundle (3rd). Rifle Shooting: National U15 finals: Rebecca Bull 6th (out of 20). Horse Riding: British Pony Squad: David Doel has been invited to compete in the Necrame International Horse Trials in Sept.2007. Badminton: Level 2 Wiltshire: Ben Hodder, Sam Jackson, Candy Chan, Cyrus Chan, Fred Yeung, Tommy Cheung, Anson Wong Cross-Country: Wiltshire representatives for South West County Schools Championships. Dauntsey’s have run 29 other sporting activities – swimming, life saving, water-polo, aerobics, sub –aqua , golf, trampolining, soccer, judo, yoga, badminton, archery, table tennis, fly fishing, equestrian, squash, sailing, basketball, fencing, girls cricket, ballet, dance, self-defense, parachuting, Brecons challenge, Duke of Edinburgh, DW, Expeditions and Mountaineering society, Ten Tors. Dauntsey’s have run 52 different sporting inter-house competitions.
Tours The 1st XI Boys toured Holland in March winning all there matches in impressive style: vs. Rotterdam won 21-3; vs. Soest HC (Amsterdam) won 12-1 & against Klein Zwitserland HC (The Hague) won 9-3. 34 girls (three hockey teams) are touring South Africa in July for three weeks the tour includes visits to Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town playing against local sides and competing in an U18 XI International Schools Hockey Festival in Cape Town.
