Jolie Brise Wins First Leg of 2008 Tall Ships Race

 

JOLIE BRISE WINS FIRST LEG OF 2008 INTERNATIONAL TALL SHIPS’ RACE

Jolie Brise, owned and sailed by Dauntsey’s School, has been placed first in class and overall winner (on corrected time) in the first leg of the Tall Ships’ Race which saw the fleet sail from Liverpool to Maløy in Norway. She is currently racing from Bergen to Den Helder (in the Netherlands) on the second leg, and she was last reported to be first in class and third overall.
