Fundraising for Wiltshire Air Ambulance

Earlier this week we were delighted to present a cheque for £14,432 to our elected charity of the past year, Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

An impressive £5,000 of the total raised came from the team who took part in the grueling Devizes to Westminster canoe race at Easter. The remainder of the money was raised through a large variety of events organised by each house including, the inaugural charity boules competition, the annual Manor Fête, cake sales, raffles and the 24-hour Runathon which saw 108 runners covering 721 miles.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this campaign for Wiltshire Air Ambulance. It has been wonderful to witness the Dauntsey’s spirit in action with many new initiatives seen this year. Hopefully First Former Ellie who won the Scott House Charity Raffle enjoyed being Headmaster for a day!

Pupils and staff are currently in the process of choosing which international charity we will support this year and the result of the vote will be announced next week.
