International Society Exeat Trip

A group of International Pupils enjoyed an Exeat weekend away from school during which they were able to eat, sleep, socialise, shop, rest and have excitement all in appropriate measures!

We stayed at a lovely hotel in Windsor and had a couple of hours sightseeing and shopping in the town before a three course meal at the Prezzo Italian restaurant that evening.

We were blessed with excellent weather at Thorpe Park on Saturday where most pupils managed to get to all the big rides, such as Colossus, Nemesis, Stealth, Saw and Swarm. Some pupils also enjoyed the less scary rides too!

We ate at Wagamama that evening and spent a restful night in Windsor before a more leisurely start to Sunday when we travelled to Oxford. Despite my offers to lead a walking trip around the University colleges and sights of the city pupils were happy to spend time with friends and making their own way around the city centre. The modest collections of shopping bags brought back to school were testimony to an enjoyable day.

I was delighted that many pupils did visit some colleges, galleries and museums during the day too!

So far this term the International Society have also enjoyed a welcome buffet meal, a trip to Bath; a trip to see the new Kingsman film; and are looking forward to a meal at Pizza Express and an evening out 10-Pin Bowling in the next few weeks.
