The Gilliat Prize for Singing
The final concert of the Gilliat Prize for Singing took place in the Old Hall in the evening of Sunday 16th November. Eleven finalists were selected to perform to the internationally acclaimed baritone, Mark Evans, who was genuinely impressed by the standard of singing and breadth of repertoire. Harry was Highly Commended for his singing of Mozart and Schubert, and the overall winner for 2008 was Anais, who sang a Ballade from German's Merrie England and Quella fiamma by Strossi.
