DSPA Travel Scholarship 2008/2009
Five pupils applied for the DSPA (Dauntsey's School Parents' Association) Travel Scholarship, and the four judges were extremely impressed with the preparation, research, planning and delivery of all presentations.
The presentations were as follows:
Elliot Hamer................................................ A Photographic Study of a Tibetan Community in Exile
Rhiannon Nokes ....................................... A Study of the Shona Project in Kenya
Sasha S. .............................................. The effects of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia
James Quigley & Donal Wong ................. Is a 'Free Tibet' a better Tibet?
The selection of a winner was a difficult one due to the high standards of all presentations, and in the end the Scholarship was awarded to Sasha Stowe. Congratulations to her, and well done to all those who presented on the day.
