Daily Telegraph Sports Matters Awards
'Independent School of the Year' Finalist 2009
We are delighted to report that Dauntsey's is one of three schools to have been short-listed for the 'Independent School of the Year' award 2009; one of 11 awards presented by The Daily Telegraph and Aviva School Sports Matters campaign.
The awards are designed to recognise dedication, commitment, team-work and the core belief that sport in the school environment, setting a pattern for life, does matter. In other words, the foundation for sporting success is developed at school.
The School Sport Matters campaign culminates annually with a prestigious national awards ceremony which this year is being held at Chelsea Football Club on Tuesday 6th October. The awards will be presented by a range of top sports personalities, such as Dame Kelly Holmes and James Cracknell.
Mr David Messenger, Miss Eleni Conidaris and Fourth Former Jack Mynott will represent the School at the Awards Ceremony in October.
We look forward to reporting on how they get on. Click here for Latest Report.
