German Trip to Lindau

Over the autumn half term break, 15 Upper School German linguists spent six days at the Dialoge language school in Lindau on Lake Constance. This year the intensive language lessons included an afternoon preparing typical German food for the other students and staff at the language school. Pupils stayed in pairs with local families and lessons were complemented by trips to the state-of-the-art Mercedes museum in Stuttgart, a bike ride around Lake Constance to Austria, a local pumpkin festival and a day trekking in the Alps, finishing at the top of the Olympic ski jump in Oberstdorf. They even found just enough snow for a quick snowball fight!
