The Gilliat Prize for Singing

The Gilliat Prize for Singing aims to promote and celebrate the highest standards of Classical Singing. The Final Concert of this year's event undoubtedly fulfilled all expectations, with delightful performances from eleven Senior Pupils, each of whom performed a contrasting pair of classical songs, ranging from Lieder by Wolf and Schumann, Mozart operas and songs by Dowland, Warlock and Handel.

All participants are to be congratulated on their achievement, and this year's winner was Anais Seager, who performed The Shepherd's Song by Elgar and Sullivan's Oh Goddess Wise.
