Open University Certificate

A Dauntsey's pupil has been awarded the Certificate of Contemporary Science from the Open University, a considerable achievement given he is only just in the Fifth Form. Alex Howard completed the first of six short courses when he was only ten. He studied for the sixth and last module over the summer holidays to round off the Certificate, which is equivalent to half a year at university.  Dr June Tweney from the Open University in Bristol travelled to the School to congratulate Alex in person and present him with his Certificate.
