Sixth Form Essay Competition

Congratulations to Tom Cannon who was awarded the £250 first prize for his essay "Should the UK Continue to Spend Money to Support the Large Hadron Collider?". The second prize of £100 went to India Block for her essay entitled "A Modern lilith: An exploration of dualism in the mythology created by Dante Gabriel Rossetti in his works Lady Lilith and Eden Bower".

There were thirteen entries in total, and amongst those the following were highly commended:

Alice Christofi - "Existentialism: Freedom or Imprisonment?"
Emily Dixon - "Can Society Outgrow God?"
Aleksandra Tyurina - "Can Globalisation be Sustained?"
