Exam Results 2015

Pupils and teachers at Dauntsey’s are today celebrating another year of excellent A Level results, with 81.4% A*/A/B grades. Over 50% of some 400 subject entries were awarded A* or A. Leading the field with five A* grades was Amy Chu, closely followed by Natalie Chui and Jonathan Scott with four, and Katie Everett, Edward Henderson, Jemima Pitceathly, Ross Tatham and Diana Yarosh with three. An impressive 33 candidates achieved a clean sweep of A*/A grades.

The Head Master, Mark Lascelles, said that he was delighted to see the hard work of so many pupils and staff being rewarded with such fine results. He also offered his congratulations to the parents of the pupils and thanked them for their support and encouragement throughout their children’s time at Dauntsey’s.

The majority of pupils achieved grades enabling them to take up their first choice universities, with Exeter the most popular destination, closely followed by Bristol and Birmingham.

"An outstanding set of A level results this year has seen Dauntsey’s pupils secure an impressive number of university places. Three quarters of the 127 university places confirmed so far are at Russell group/ The Times top 15 universities. Six pupils have secured places at Oxbridge and a further six are off to read Medicine or Veterinary science,” said James O Hanlon, Head of Careers.
