A Level Results 2016

This year’s Upper Sixth year group, who made an outstanding contribution to the School in their time here, worked incredibly hard to achieve academic success. Today brought 46.3% A* and A grades and 77.8% A*, A and B grades.

Leading the field with three A* and two A grades was Joey Lau, closely followed by Lloyd Ollerhead, Emily Neve, Torran Green and Sophie Fischer, who each earned three A* grades and one A grade. An impressive 26 candidates achieved a clean sweep of A*/A grades.

It was also pleasing to see that a good number of pupils exceeded their own targets and that nearly all pupils secured their chosen University place.

The Lower Sixth pupils did well, with 36% A grades and 63% A/B grades with fifteen pupils recording four A grades. With commitment and hard work, there is the potential for a good set of results next year.
