An Evening of Jazz at Dauntsey's

The Jazz evening on 10 November in the Pavilion began with the Dance Band playing Soul Man, and included other Jazz greats such as 'Route 66'.

Many Sixth Formers sang with the band, ranging from an Andrews Sisters number to a more updated number originally sung by Michael Buble - Haven't met you yet.

A quiet middle set was accompanied by John Barwood on the guitar, and the evening was compered with great panache by Felix Lailley.

After an hour of music, the evening finished with a rousing rendition of The Hawk Talks featuring many soloists from within the band.

A great event, and the bands first outing in the fabulous Pavilion.
