Annual Manor Marathon

On a cool but sunny and bright Sunday morning around 30 Manorites, some parents and staff gathered for an early start at beautiful Bath Abbey. The challenge at hand was to cycle the 26+ miles back to the Manor for charity in the annual ‘Manor Marathon’. The cyclists were joined by 13 runners, who did much of the route in relays.

Via the Kennet and Avon Canal, through Potterne, and back to the Manor, all the group made great progress with just a few punctures, a little saddle soreness, and one or two blisters! By 1pm all the cyclists and runners were back at the house ready to enjoy a lovely BBQ.

And a tidy sum raised for the school charity – all in all, a great day. A big well done to all who took part.
