Manor Trip to Cornwall
As the summer term reaches its climax, the Manor celebrated the coming holidays with a fabulous long weekend away in Cornwall.
With the Third Form at Moonrakers, it was left to the First and Second Form to hold the fort! After a slight crisis of a minibus break-down on the A303, we pushed on through and made it for a surf lesson at Polzeath by the late afternoon. Mackerel fishing was the Sunday morning activity; although the fish weren’t biting for the First Form boat, the Second Form took 27 lovely mackerel – and we enjoyed gutting, cooking and eating them for supper later on.
Perhaps the highlight was the coasteering which saw us leaping off rocks into the sea and exploring sea caves. Check out the very cool photos below.
