Young Enterprise Regional Final

Having won the Wiltshire County Final, Dauntsey's Young Enterprise Company LuminArt headed to RNAS Culdrose, Helston, Cornwall for the YE South-West Regional Final on Friday 19 June.

The Company faced a gruelling day fielding judges' questions at their trade stand, taking part in group interviews and giving a formal presentation to a hall of judges, local business leaders and fellow Young Enterprise participants. LuminArt performed well and picked up the Financial Award which is given to the Company in the South-West region which displays the best financial management.

Every year around 250 YE companies are set up in the South-West region and for LumiArt to reach the last eight and pick up an award is a great achievement; evidencing that the future of British business is safe in the hands of Dauntsey's pupils. LuminArt would like to thank the DSPA for their support for the YE Company Programme and to Rachael Pickford of Hams Transport who volunteers her time to support the team as their business adviser on a weekly basis.
