Farmer House Charity Boules Competition

The Farmer Charity Boules Competition took place from Monday to Thursday, involving 34 teams from across the school and raised £150 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

There was a shock exit for So Much Talent (Mr Lascelles, Mrs Upton, Mr McFarland and Mr Tyler) against So Much More Talent (Atlanta Hatch, Horatio Lovering, Charlie Rigby and Alice Walton-Knight) in the early rounds. Early victories were also secured by Breaking Boules (Chemistry Department) and the Boulistic Missiles (Physics Department).

Overall the competition was won by the Shamboules (Mr Olsen, Mr Devney, Mr Ayling and Mr Whyte). Special mention should go to Giant Boules (Pippa Adamthwaite-Cook, Lucy Wand, Kiah Cooper and Bronte Lorimer) who finished second, closely followed by Mr Barley’s Having a Party (Robbie Andrews, Will Thomas, Archie Cole and Henry Hill) who just sneaked third place ahead of FitzBoule (Mrs Holloway, Arthur Mui, Myles Appleby, Noah Cannon).

Support from the school community was overwhelming and the competition was enjoyed by both players and spectators,
