Chemistry Lecture - Colourful Chemistry

On Wednesday 25^th February, Professor Laurence Harwood gave a lecture on "Colourful Chemistry" to nearly 100 Upper School pupils. Professor Harwood is Head of Organic Chemistry at Reading University and as a Governor has a long association with the School.

The lecture mixed plenty of fun demonstrations with clear explanations of the chemistry behind them, and involved lots of audience participation. The highly appreciative audience emerged enthused, and literally enlightened.
