County Mini-Hockey Tournament
U13A Girls' Team wins
On Sunday 8th March, Dauntsey's School hosted the Boys' and Girls' U13 County Mini-Hockey Tournament. The round robin style competition attracted a good number of school and club sides, including clubs from Marlborough, Devizes, Chippenham and North Wilts.
The Dauntsey's Boys' U13A seven-a-side team won matches against Devizes Hockey Club and Prior Park, and drew 0-0 with Marlborough Hockey Club. Unfortunately they then lost 0-1 to the Bishops' team in the semi-final match.
The Dauntsey's Girls' U13A seven-a-side team won all four of their matches, scoring 12 goals in total:
Dauntsey's vs. Marlborough Hockey Club - (won 3-0)
Dauntsey's vs. Devizes Hockey Club - (won 6-0)
Dauntsey's vs. Chippenham Hockey Club - (won 2-0)
Dauntsey's vs. North Wilts Hockey Club - (won 1-0)
As a result of this victory, the U13A Dauntsey's Girls will compete in the West finals on Saturday 25th April.
