Fun for Valentine's
Fitz and Jeanne celebrate
On Monday 9th February, the Fitzmaurice House boys invited all the girls from Jeanne House over for an evening of Valentine's celebrations. Each pupil was given the name of a famous character, and then the girls and boys had to find their 'perfect match'. There was much hilarity as Mickey Mouse searched for Minnie, Bonnie looked for Clyde, Harry met Sally, and Capt. John Smith found Pocahontas - to name but a few.
Once the pupils had found their 'love match' they decorated a heart-shaped shortbread biscuit for one another using a variety of different toppings, such as marshmallows, love hearts and chocolate sprinkles. They then tucked into home made popcorn and bags of 'pick and mix' as they settled down to watch a classic 1980s love film - Ghost. It was a very successful evening and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who took part, house staff included!
