Jowett Sendelar Essay Competition

Congratulations to the above Dauntsey's pupil who entered the Jowett Sendelar Essay Competition last summer, and recently heard that he was awarded a merit for his essay, receiving a £15 book token.

The Jowett Sendelar Essay Competition is open to students in the Fourth Form and below, and is run annually by the Joint Association of Classical Teachers. It attracts some 150 -170 entries from a wide variety of schools within the UK. The essay is on a classical subject and between 1500 -2500 words.
