Longleat 10k
Pupils take part in scenic race
On Sunday 1st March, 15 pupils and three members of staff took part in the Longleat 10k race. The sun shone brightly as the Dauntsey's team joined the hundreds of other runners along the rather hilly course, through the beautiful surroundings of the Longleat Estate. They all did very well to complete the course, thoroughly enjoying the occasion, although a few of them reported their disappointment at not having seen the lions! Congratulations in particular to George and Rosie who were the first male and female pupils in the Dauntsey's team to cross the finishing line. Member of staff, Allister Sheffield, also deserves a special mention as he was positioned third overall in the race!
