VALENTINE'S HEARTS

1,400 messages of love delivered
At the end of the spring half term, the Head Boy and Head Girl, and their busy team of prefects, delivered no less than 1,400 heart-shaped lollipops to pupils (and staff!) around the School. Pupils paid £1 for a lollipop and a message to be delivered on their behalf, and in the process £1,309 was raised for this year's chosen charity, Teenage Cancer Trust. An added bonus was that this year's delivery also came with a raffle ticket attached, and ten lucky people received a raffle prize which included: a photo shoot, a three-course meal in a pub, a giant chocolate hamper and bowling vouchers. Congratulations to all those who organised an event that not only raised a substantial amount of money for charity, but which brightened up everyone's day!
