Manor Artistic Activities Weekend
The weekend started early for Manor pupils, when on Friday 15th January they had a fun-filled evening proving themselves to be a most interactive audience at the pantomime in Bath. Sleeping Beauty certainly made an impact on them and all the pupils joined in with the singing, clapping and laughing at the rather cheesy jokes. The actors enjoyed having Dauntsey's in the audience and we were mentioned several times throughout the production for our ability to have fun! Members of the public also commented how lovely it was to be sat next to such an enthusiastic group of school children.
On Sunday the Manor pupils were then involved in an afternoon of canvas painting. Tremendous thought went into the designs and after lots of preparation the pupils began to bring their creations to life with stunning colours. The results can be seen in the photographs and we look forward to the canvases being framed and hung in the corridors and rooms at the Manor.
