French Trip to Nice

In February half term, 18 linguists from the Fifth and Sixth Form followed an intensive French course in Nice, accompanied by two members of staff. In the mornings, pupils attended lessons at the Azurlingua Language School. These lessons were perfectly tailored to the needs of our pupils, and each of them received a certificate in recognition of their progress and achievement at the end of the stay. In the afternoons, the group was treated to guided visits of Vieux Nice, Antibes, and Monaco. Pupils also had time to explore the stunning city of Nice and to enjoy the famous Mardi Gras Carnival (pictured below). All pupils stayed in host families, and were excited to experience French culture and family life first hand.
