Middle School Music Competition
The Middle School Music Competition is often the point at which those pupils learning to play musical instruments, suddenly start to sound and look like real musicians. Tthe quality of sound, the interpretation of the music and the general approach to 'performing', rather than simply 'playing' begins to emerge. This growing sense of maturity was certainly evident at this year's event.
The Final Concert, held on Tuesday 2nd February featured eight pupils, performing repertoire from Bach to Yiruma. All participants are to be congratulated on their performances, especially this year's winner, the pianist, Ivan Wing.
