Old Dauntseians' Hockey & Annual Dinner

The much anticipated annual OD hockey fixtures against the school's 1st XI hockey teams took place on Friday 12th March. The OD ladies' and the Dauntsey's 1st XI girls' played a closely fought match, with a final score of 1-0 to the ODs. The OD Mens' v. 1st XI boys' match was highly competitive, with some excellent play from both sides, ending in a 2-0 score in favour of the Old Dauntseians.

That evening some 100 guests gathered for the annual ODA dinner. The evening was a great success, with ODs of all generations enjoying a delicious meal, and speeches from Jeff Balcombe (OD 67-72), Chairman of the ODA, and guest speaker Bill Scarborough (OD 62-67), Master of the Worshipful Company of Mercers. The highlight of the evening was the musical interlude provided by current pupils performing songs from the recent production of "Chicago".
