Local Parliamentary Candidates Visit Dauntsey's

In anticipation of the announcement of the General Election, and to promote in our first-time voters the importance of making an informed choice, rather than merely being creatures of electoral habit, Dauntsey's has invited three local parliamentary candidates to visit Dauntsey's and to answers pupils' questions. The candidates are:

FIONA HORNBY (LIB DEM)
The Liberal Democrat candidate for Devizes, Fiona Hornby, visited on Friday 26th February and was on hand to answer some very pertinent and thoughtful questions from an audienceof staff and pupils. Mrs Hornby was the Parliamentary Candidate in the 2005 election, and gained 25% of the vote, losing to Michael Ancram (Conservative). Mrs Perry was recently elected to take over the Conservative seat from recently retired Michael Ancram in November 2009.
