Senior and Lower School Ensembles Concert
Sixteen Ensembles took part in a stunning concert, which enthralled a large and appreciative audience in the Memorial Hall last Thursday evening. Without exception, all the ensembles performed to an incredible standard, and a rapid changeover from one ensemble to the next ensured a lively and highly varied sequence of music making.
A final 17th Ensemble (made up from all the other 16 ensembles combined together) concluded the concert with a rousing and hugely uplifting performance of Jerusalem, for which the audience spontaneously stood up and joined in with the singing. This was a very special ending to a very special event.
