During the May half-term, 36 Fourth Form geographers, accompanied by Mr Palmer, Mrs Clark and Mrs Palmer, spent five days in Provence. They were blessed with glorious weather and enjoyed a busy and exciting programme of visits. These included: the spectacular Gorges du Verdon, Cassis, the Camargue delta, limestone caves at Thouzon and the ochre mines at Rousillon. Evenings were spent swimming, 10-pin bowling and relaxing at the hotel at Istres overlooking the Etang de Berre.
