Following drinks at the Head Master's House, the overseas leavers and their non-international guests enjoyed a very fine three-course meal on Saturday night to celebrate their time at the School and to mark their final term. With buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes garnished with a rocket salad with a pine-nut dressing for starters, the Leavers were then treated to supreme of chicken, accompanied by a tin-bell of vegetable noodles and a red-pepper coulis. Although the first two courses were greeted with much satisfaction, the Leavers' expressed vigorous appreciation for the chocolate brownie pudding. Without doubt, the dessert was a culinary triumph, particularly as it was served with a rich vanilla ice cream and a hot dark chocolate sauce. The whole occasion was very special: it was a wonderful way to mark fellowship and the permanent friendships that have been forged across oceans, mountains and continents. Our International Leavers will be much missed and we wish them every success in the future.
