OD Cricket

The OD cricket match was held on Sunday 27th June, the hottest day of the year to date. It was an excellent game which was played in good spirit, and a super day was had by all who played and watched. The ODs made a good start with Joe Wookey and Dave Scott both scoring half centuries. The School fought back with Ben Rostand taking 4-33. However, skipper Ollie Smith arrived at number 9 and hit 73 not out in only 34 balls to take the ODs to a challenging total of 235-8. The School made a decent effort in response but were also behind the run rate and with wickets falling steadily the young and inexperienced side were all out for 151.
