Dauntsey's Triathlon
Congratulations to all the parents, pupils and staff who took part in the annual Dauntsey's Triathlon event on Sunday 23rd May. The competition consisted of a 400 metre swim, a 1.55 mile cycle ride and a 0.25 mile run. Participants entered either as individuals or as part of a team and the enthusiasm and camaraderie with which they competed made for a very special and happy event. All those who took part and spectators then enjoyed a celebratory barbecue prepared by the School's chefs. Whilst the triathletes were competing, the Fitzmaurice House boys were exercising in a different way: they ran a fundraising car wash which raised £165, which will go to Nightingales Children's Project in Romania.
