ODs and Links

In this section you will find information for parents and Old Dauntseians and links to the Jolie Brise and Mercers' websites.

Dauntsey's School was founded in West Lavington, Wiltshire, in 1542, under the will of Alderman William Dauntesey, Master of the Worshipful Company of Mercers. From these humble beginnings over four and a half centuries ago, Dauntsey's has grown into a thriving, modern, fully co-educational school with some 800 pupils, with continued links with the Mercers' Company.

Great people - great school

“ The outstanding feature of Dauntsey's is our pupils. They are good fun to be with. They are irreverent at times, respectful at others and I think the sign of a great school is that it produces great people. ”

— Head Master, Mark Lascelles
