Host of Angels

Host of Angels by Mark Whelehan

The School would like to thank Mark Whelehan (67/74) for donating his Host of Angels sculpture, carved from a root of a 600 year old tree. This is now in place outside the Art School and includes a plaque with a poem written by Mark.

‘Host of Angels’
Below the worn out soles of mice
Parts the cobwebbed morning dew
Where a host of fallen Angels
Burst through the mental eye of a needle
Into the azure blue
