Dauntsey's Bulletin no. 54

Head Master's Notices

I hope you all had a restful half-term break.

Our Mercers’ Lecture delivered last night by Sir John Sawers was both extremely interesting and enlightening. His talk was entitled Order and Disorder – A Group-Political Outlook; a very topical and hard-hitting subject right now, and it was wonderful to see so many pupils in the audience taking an avid interest, as well as so many of our parents and neighbours.

We have a busy weekend planned. Good luck to our first netball team who will be competing at the Bradfield College tournament tomorrow, we also have fixtures against Downside, Pangbourne College and Dean Close. I also hope that final rehearsals for ‘Rockfest’ go well on Sunday.

I look forward to seeing Third Form parents this evening, and wish you all a good weekend.
